Cliff polyp
The Cliff-polyp is a mauve, alpine-dwelling plant, from the Equatorial Mountains of Darwin IV, usually found in small clumps.

The plants cling stubbornly to the rocks, each one at intervals, puffing forth a yellowish cloud of strong-smelling spores. Springwings will push their beaked mouths into a cluster of these plants and commence to pop off the succulent, globular tips. Cliff-polyps are the springwing's sole forage.
